Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and Trillion Dollar Industries LLC (“we” or “us”) for using Author Creator. By creating an account, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Author Creator.
1. Your account
You must be at least 18. Give a real email address you can reach, keep your password private, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
2. Your book belongs to you
You own what you write in Author Creator, and you own the drafts and content the app helps you create from it. You give us permission only to store, process, and display your work so the service can do its job for you, including sending it to our AI providers to answer your requests. That permission ends when you delete the work or close your account. We will never publish or sell your book.
3. What the AI is, and is not
Author Creator is a coaching tool. It asks questions, organizes, and suggests. It can be wrong, and it can produce text that is unclear, inaccurate, or similar to existing writing. You are the author: review everything before you use it, check facts, quotes, Scripture references, and statistics yourself, and make sure what you publish is yours to publish. Author Creator does not give legal, financial, medical, or publishing-contract advice, and we do not promise any book will be finished, published, or sold.
4. Plans, billing, and cancelling
- The Free plan includes a one-time set of coaching requests. It does not refill.
- Paid plans (Author ($7 / month), Author Pro ($27 / month), Author Creator ($47 / month)) are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until you cancel.
- You can cancel any time in Profile under Manage Billing. You keep your plan until the end of the period you already paid for, then move to Free. Your books stay.
- Extra request packs (25 for $5) are a one-time purchase, are used after your monthly allowance runs out, and do not expire while your account is open.
- Unused monthly requests do not roll over. Prices may change; we will tell you before a new price applies to your plan.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are not refunded, but if something went wrong, email us at hello@authorcreator.app and we will make it right where we reasonably can.
5. Codes
Access and bonus codes are gifts from us. They have no cash value, cannot be sold, and can be ended if they are misused.
6. Fair use
Please do not:
- use Author Creator for anything illegal, hateful, harassing, or harmful, or to create content that infringes someone else’s rights;
- try to get into other people’s accounts, break or overload the service, or get around plan limits;
- resell access, or use automated tools to pull large amounts of AI output.
We may pause or close accounts that break these rules. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to save your writing.
7. Availability
We work to keep Author Creator running and your writing safe, but the service is provided “as is” and may sometimes be unavailable or change. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
8. Limits on our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or unexpected losses, lost profits, or lost data, and our total responsibility for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the three months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
9. Closing your account
You can stop using Author Creator at any time. To delete your account and everything in it, email us. If we ever shut the service down, we will give you notice and time to save your work.
10. Changes and the law
If we change these terms in an important way, we will tell you before the change takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, USA. If we disagree about something, please email us first. Most things can be worked out.
